+ When can you call a drink non-alcoholic?

In The Netherlands we can call a drink non-alcoholic if it contains no more than 0.5% alcohol. VINADA amply meets this condition. It is important to know that these rules vary from country to country.

+ When do you speak of de-alcoholised wine?

This is wine which is produced in the same way as wine with alcohol. The only difference is - where regular wine is bottled - that there is a process in which the alcohol is extracted from the wine. There are different techniques for doing this. The percentage of alcohol that remain is shown on the back of the bottle. Because of the de-alcoholisation process, there are on average 69% fewer calories in the wine compared with alcoholic wine.
