VINADA Tempting Tempranillo and Shrimps

VINADA® grilled shrimp

Grilled shrimp is light, fresh, and full of flavor. The smoky char and hint of garlic and lemon pair beautifully with VINADA Tempting Tempranillo Rosé. The crisp, fruity notes of rosé balance the savory marinade and enhance the natural sweetness of the shrimp, making it a perfect summer combination.

Ingredients (4 persons):

- 450 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on if you like)

- 3 tablespoons olive oil

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (plus extra wedges for serving)

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for spice)

- Salt and black pepper, to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Wine: VINADA® Tempting Tempranillo Rose

Steps:

  1. Prepare the shrimp: Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. Make the marinade: In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.

  3. Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the bowl, toss to coat, and let marinate for 15–20 minutes in the refrigerator.

  4. Preheat the grill: Heat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

  5. Grill the shrimp: Thread shrimp onto skewers (if using) and place them on the hot grill. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and slightly charred.

  6. Serve: Remove from the grill, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
